ABOUT THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

The FOL, founded in 1976, is a non-profit support group that raises funds for the library. It’s sole purpose is to enhance the quality of the Library’s services and collections through its memberships and fundraising activities. Money earned through these activities is used to purchase additional books and equipment.

ANNUAL MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION DRIVE

The annual “Be a LibraryYSweetheart” magazine drive is held throughout the month of February. Patrons may select a magazine from the Library's list and donate the cost of that magazine, or make a contribution of any amount.  A list of magazines and the cost of each is available in the Friends book store.  Due to space limitations, the Library requests that only magazines on the list be chosen.  For more information, call the book store at 292-0540.

The Annual Rock, Walk and Run race is held in Winter Haven to benefit the Children’s Department of the Library.
