On-Going Programs



3rd Friday of Every Month at 3:30PM

Minecrafters is a hands-on event for kids.  Learn, play and share the world of Minecraft.  Lego Minecraft and Minecraft Pocket Edition on iPads will be featured. This program occurs on the 3rd Friday of the month.


Chess Club

2nd Friday of every month from 4-5PM

Like to play chess? Don't know how? That's okay! The Youth Services Department hosts a Chess Club on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month in the Youth Services Department's Craft Room.


Every Tuesday at 4PM in the Children's Story Room

We supply the Lego blocks, you supply the imagination!  Creations will be displayed during the following week.

Ages 7-12




Little Sprouts Story Time

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30AM

Children, ages 5 and under, enjoy stories, songs, finger plays and puppet shows that develop early literacy skills and promote interaction between parents and children. This program runs September through April.


 Excellence in Reading
is a very successful program at the library. Children read specific books and are tested on a computer. There are a set number of books to read and incentives awarded along the way.  The Excellence in Reading program is  for ages 5-17.

Saturday Movie
2nd & 4th Saturday at 2PM

Enjoy free movies in the Library’s movie theater at 2 p.m.  Movie titles are geared towards a family audience with a variety of G, PG and sometimes PG-13 ratings.  Refreshments are available for a small charge.
