Minecrafters

Minecrafters is a hands-on event for teens.  Learn, play and share the world of Minecraft.  Lego Minecraft and Minecraft Pocket Edition on iPads will be featured. This program occurs on the 3rd Friday of the month.

Navigating the Web for College - Free Seminar for High School Juniors and Seniors and their Parents!

This class will be a hands-on, web-based experience for high school students (juniors and seniors) to navigate the web in regard to comparing colleges, college scholarships and financial aid. Leza Breckinridge will assist students (and their parents) in various internet tips and little-known secrets of looking for and applying for scholarship, finding the right college to meet your child's needs, and financial aid applications.

This free seminar will take place at the Winter Haven Library in the new SEEDLab (computer lab) on Saturday, November 22. Two identical classes will be held. Pick your class and register early because space is limited and the spots will fill fast! Please limit your group to 1-3 people.

Career Source Mobile One-Stop

The Career Source (formerly Polk Works) Mobile One-Stop bus, equipped with computers, will have case managers to assist with: Creating/Updating Resumes,    Assessing Job Skills, Job Applications, Food Stamp Applications,     Counseling Services, Training, Job Searching, Unemployment Claims, ...and more!  No Appointment Necessary!

This bus will be at the Library on the first Monday of every month.
